          Canon , Inc.
It is illegal to tamper with this circuit in an attempt to falsify the counter readings of any Canon
          Copier.

the Counter Memory, Serial Number and Main
Controller PCBs work as a set and are considered the “Soft Counter Circuit”. The Counter Memory PCB is
electronically stamped with the serial number from the Serial Number PCB. Neither the Counter Memory
PCB nor the Serial Number PCB can be swapped to other equipment.

Press and hold down the "Zero" button for two hours, but make sure you do not release it at all or you will have to start all over.
            Good luck.

It would suck if you had to take a crap!

              LOL

              Get outta here!

                      Good luck.
Once upon a time,i held down the "Zero" button for more than 2 hours and the counter for a moment was 8.000.000 and one moment was 0.So i called a Canon Tech and telling him the truth about "Zero" and the "moving" counter.
                      He said:
"Holding down "Zero" for 2 hours is very tedious.
                      So,go rest,because your very tired !!!"

It is time to scrap out your copier then, and turn it into a parts machine. The people that are buying these copiers need to know that they are buying OLD copiers, not new ones. Replace all the consumable parts that need it and reset those counters.
