    Hi Guys

I checked the leaf spring. It had some black gunk on it.I cleaned it and the reg roller. The problem however persisted. I the stripped the whole registration guide mechanism (2.5 hours later).Cleaned (was full of toner at the back). I have run about 500 prints since then and it seems if we have got it licked. Thanx to all !!!

Apologies for delayed reaction I have limited internet access

    Regards

Guess I am a bit late to the party again. I was going to suggest the registration roller may have had a flat spot, or motor issue causing the drum to move/wobble.

Thank you for letting us know what fixed it. Adds to our "reference" head file.

That "black gunk" is conductive grease,,, it is supposed to be there. I carry the stuff now, when they squeak there, clean them off and re-apply the stuff...

                  Hi
Have you tried cutting the cable ties on the registration sensor harness?
