One company I buy from sell them between $300 to $350. Works like a charm. It might be cheaper to buy a parts machine with it and install all the good parts into it. Just a thought. Hard to justify any software for a iRC3220 when there are soooooo many available.

You can not transfer the universal send kit on an IRC-3200 once it is installed on a machine. Good idea but bad advice.

Licenses are married but can be moved. Not worth the hassle or cash canon wants to move it. I think he bought the kit new already.

I think you mis understood my words. It is not worth buying a usend ir3200 kit! There are hundreds of irc32xx machines that are available because export market will not accept colour in most countries due to high tariffs to prevent counterfeiting. Bottom line I can buy a irc32xx woth usend for the same price as the usend kit. Now I have usend and extra parts. So were exactly is the bad advice? In fact I gave the name or both parties he could contact and make an educated choice. The only bias was to say even if you bought a parts machine with you usend you could transfer all the good parts across and still be better off. So am I the bad guy for sharing wharves already know?

DONGLE can not be transferred once it is used/installed on iR Machine

                    3200 series has no
                    License Management System.

I never said transfer the license. I said buy a used copier with usend. It is the same price as the kit. Transfer you belt and drums across.

Yes I know the irc32xx has no management software. Let's not lose the focus of the question that was asked. I have move licenses from newer equipment that does support the move. It is not worth the fees asked. So much equipment is already available with desired usend that it makes no sense to really port over a license. At least in my parts.

Dongle term explained for those who do not know what it is...

The dongle is a physical part, plugged into a laptop/pc at the beginning of the licensing process. It is either parallel or USB. During the licensing process, the serial number of the copier is "burned" into the dongle. The dongle is a one-shot device. If you had to replace a hard drive, you could still use the dongle to reinstall the feature on the copier because the serials would match. The dongle is the key, and since it is serialized in the installation process, the license cannot be transferred to another copier.

As to fees for transfer??? I have transferred a couple LMS licenses, and Canon did not charge any fee ?!?
