    Ask: How To attach NIC in IR6000

    Dear Master,
    I just purchase a 2nd hand IR 6000, I want to connect the machine to PC as printer, but there no a NIC present.
    Can I attach a NIC there?
    Where I can buy a NIC for IR 6000
    If I attach a NIC, I must Flash the machine or not?

          You must get the printer kit that comes with the nic, (N)bootrom and I believe some ram.

          And yes you must flash the machine.

                          Best bet is to Call a Authorized Canon Dealer for service, explain what u want                          .
                          Either way your going to need and spend Money

                              You are looking for trouble if you do not know the technology.
                              If you buy NEW parts for printer option it will cost you a lot of money.
                              Just sell the machine and buy a second hand machine again with printer capabilities.
