    Hi guys!

I have exactly the same problem. One year ago I changed HDD in my iR3300. Something happened again to this new HDD and I had to repair it, using disk utilities. Then I put it back into the copier and tried to format it and upload Firmware (using Bi-Centronics Cable). I was able to format and upload only RUI and Language. I'm unable to upload BOOT (XXxxv2644) and SYSTEM (USEnv4501) using SST 4.22E. Every time I try, it gives an Error Code 13 (Selected firmware type is different from connected. Select unit again) and Sub code: 12

I was able to do it one year ago, but now it stops with the above mentioned error. How can I know which model exactly it is? It's written iR3300 on the front side panel... I mean - could it be something other? e.g. iR3300i or iR3300N? I don't think so, because I got iR3300N Firmware (45.01) but I can't upload any part of this FW to my iR3300. So, I guess it's iR3300 and not iR3300N. It has a NIC installed (we use it as a network printer as well).

    What can I do?

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks buddy! As I understand, my iR3300 is iR330H? And what do I have to do in this case? What is the appropriate Firmware for it?

By the way, I've just found this thread:
        http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...re-issues.html

Could it be the ROM fault in my case? How can I find it out?

Isn't having system software for a copier on a hdd a brilliant idea..........Good ol' canon.

If the 3300 has an ethernet port in it, it requires the network versions of Boot and System.
