    [Error Code] Canon IR5000 e000012

Looking for the most probable cause of this e000012-000000 Drum drive error code. Machine makes noise when starting up. I suspect a gear problem etc...

Main Cause The drum motor (M1) is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty.

Could be a couple of other things but I would keep it simple for and check the around the drum motor.

If it's making noise take the back cover off and listen and watch you will usually see a motion that matches the noise rythm. If someone else recently worked on it make sure they didn't do something to cause it. But then again if you've never taken the back of that apart it is a tight fit and time consuming to take apart. Use caution. :-)
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.
