    IR7105 Saddle Finisher V2

    I have IR7105 with a problem in its Saddle Finisher V2
    when turn on the two finisher tray moves , the tray 1 stop in the correct place but the second stop in the bottom of the finisher without any error so all paper after copying fall down in the floor.
    pls any help.

    If look at the panel where the trays go up and down. Look at the side, there are holes where the LED PCB detect the tray home position. Blown them out with a blower brush or clean them. If that don't work then replace the LED's.

      think it's a
      sensor intensity adjustment on your type of Finisher

        I don't remember seeing those flag arms on a V1/V2.
        Thought home position was detected by the LED's

          you're right / I deleted that mistake/ getting old & crazy

                The tray is not detecting home position.

                Check the areas above that are circle in yellow and everything will become clearer.

                There not much more to explain.

                      u can also update Finisher , easily with 7105 SST USB Firmware on a memory stick, it must be the 7105 SST USB FIRMWARE ONLY/ WHAT U DO IS TO RUN /SELECT A FULL UPDATE ON ENTIRE MACHINE

                        The leds are actually paper surface sensors. They detect the height of the paper stack in the tray. Like mentioned cleaning the transmitters and receivers will fix your problem
