customer called in with scanner motor error. don't work on canon, so, i am looking any info on what to look for. first thing i asked was if the scanner was locked. he says that it is not.if anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. we focus mainly on konica minolta, nec, kyocera mita. have little or no access to info on this box. in these times, we are taking what we can get for business. tia, rb

Imageclass boxes are sold by places like Officemax, Staples etc.... I would suggest that you offer the customer the advice to seek assistance with the vendor that sold them the device...

Imageclass boxes cost less, because there is no real support structure behind the sale. It is better to spend a little more and buy an ImageRunner where there are dealer networks to support the product...
