    Canon IR5000 confused

The customer reported paper jams. The reason is that both trays 1 and 2 are displaying A4 paper size. Tray 3 is fine with legal and runs with no problem. Tray 4 displays A3. I have the re-boot procedure but is there something I am missing before I try that? I don't see any size detect sensors. There is no paper behind the trays. Thanks.

    execute auto size adjustments

set guides at the STMTR position perform Copier > Function > CST > STMTR and then with cassette guides at A4R position perform Copier > Function > CST > A4R.

There are no movable guides in the LH or RH drawers, there is no auto size adjustment for the drawers. Need to go into Copier>Options>CST and make the change to 18... Then restart the copier for change to take effect.

      P-SZ-C1
      P-SZ-C2

Use it to specify paper size used in the front deck (C1: right deck, C2: left
      deck).

Caution After electing the appropriate paper size, be sure to turn off and then on the
      main power switch.

      Settings 6: A4 (default), 15: B5, 18: LTR
