You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.... and
if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!

Haven't had to replace one, but once you get the covers removed - it sits right there.

system E100 is the error and when it goes to print you do not hear the laser spinning up noise so we think its a failed scanner mtr. are we correct?

About an hour, in and out for me. I am not fax trained so I get my OTJ training that way. Ribbon cable to laser is the only thing I can caution you about, otherwise it is a lot of screwdriver time while you burrow down to the laser.

I took about 60min and that is with my handy dandy electric screw driver. Metal cage is a bit sharp but no bandaids......when I plugged the machine in the scanner wound up and then it started to print...brought tears to my eyes and $$$$ to me pocket!

                      Thanks for the help!

Is it intermittent or constant error? Reseat the connectors at the laser driver and also on the ECU and SCNT boards. Make sure that the cartridge has the plastic piece on it to open the laser shutter

                          He already resolved the issue...

                          You're welcome!

Pulling the connectors off is what got me serrated. I brought in $531 for my efforts...
