Help With Canon GP225

sorry guys i know it's old one
my main problem is the copier can only one size
in printer board option when i choose paper size A3 it only print A3 size if i send A4 it print it on A3 paper same on A4 when i choose paper size A4 in printer board option
i wanna something make me when i send A4 it print A4 when i Send A3 it print A3
could anyone help me?

Sorry this took so long. I wanted to make sure your GP225 was my GP210. Or very close. You may have to make your question a little more clear to me, but I will try, and you can correct me when it dosnt sound right. First make sure the gp225 says the correct paper size when you select the trays. Then print a config page. See if it is right. If you can use the RUI, check how it is set up. I never had one of these set up to print, and I only have 2 left I see. I hope you get the answers you need.

We need a little more information. Was this working before and now it won't pick the right size? How are you printing? From a program like MS Word? Or from a DOS program like OMD?
I'm guessing you are DOS printing and not using a print driver since the defaults (on the Fiery) are not being overridden. I hate to give you bad news but "Auto select" is not an option for PCL or PS defaults.
We need to know what program you are printing from and make changes there for it to work.

when i send A4 and in printer board option paper size is A3 machine give me message to load A3 paper on cassette one and cassette one is A4 then the machine print from cassette two and cassette is A3

In the printer driver, try pointing the print job at the correct cassette for the paper you want instead of "Auto". This will usually end the confusion. Make sure dials in cassettes correctly reflect what is loaded in those cassettes. I can't recall if this old of a copier had Auto Paper Source/Detection settings under Additional Functions. If so make sure they are correctly set.

Print out the configuration first,and check under Printer setup> PCL setup> Paper size for system pages> whether is 'matric' or 'us'(letter size) and Copier setup>Paper souce>Auto
If every thing are set according to the printer setting, then the last issue was the printer board itself.Just change or swap with another unit.
