Service guide does not list anything except imagepass repair. I did not have installation instructions, it is in the front of that publication that gives the laundry list of items needed to complete the install. In order to connect the Fiery to its supported 'i' model copier, you will need to order the appropriate Open Interface Board. The Open Interface Board comes standard on the base model copiers (ex. C3380). It is an option for the 'i' model copiers (ex. C3380i). To connect the imagePASS J1 to an iR C2880i / C3380i / C3080i / C3480i, order:

* Please be aware that the imageRUNNER device involved must be at the latest version system software for this to work. In addition, when connected to the imagePASS, you will not be able to use the internal Canon printer kits.
