Were you the one to install this feature, and was it new out of the box? Or did you inherit this problem?

    i can't understand..

        Look at pics above of inside of Faxes
        INSIDE A MULTI LINE FAX U HAVE TWO NCU PCB's

        because u see two lines outside/ it does not mean u have a dual line/ the same case is used for both boards/

        I told u how to check a while ago in service mode under version display - a G3 MULTI -LINE Always shows the version Firmware.
        it should look like this depending on ver. G3 Fax Board-D1 v79.01

        IN SERVICE MODE -under COPIER > DISPLAY > VERSION , if u see
        PSTN=On Board Fax.

        u have a single fax Q1

          It's simple/ the display will not lie / u don't even see a display setting to adjust two-line functions

          COPIER > DISPLAY > VERSION , if u see
          PSTN=On Board Fax.

          u have a single fax Q1

          G3 Fax Board-D1 v79.01/ is shown for Mulit-Line

          there is nothing else to explain here

            why i am going deeply for this topic whenever buy the mechine he told dula line board. and also checked and given the mechine...

            iam also checking those lines..
            so iam using single line still now also.
            now i want try to conect 2 line number for fax international use.
            its dail tone has not come.
            now warranty is out and also cannot ask about for this problem now.

            my doubt is inside dual line board one is not working well iam not using that now to.

            that 's iam asking..

            now i can check fax unit for result.

              if one of those NCU Boards did not function in a D-1/ you would receive a error code

              but the display would still show
              G3 Fax Board-D1 v79.01/
              and two line adjustments would also show in fax settings-

                  Ask and ask and ask,,, pull the fax assembly out of the copier, crack open the case, and look inside to see if it has the extra parts that make it a dual line fax unit. End of story.
