[Misc] IR 3300 Drum Roller Replacement/Service Manual Questions

I'm looknig for a service manual for an imagerunner 3300? See Below:

I have a ir3300 which is printing black lines on copies. Obviously the Drum is shot. I'm changing the Drum Roller, and would also like to know what else I should be changing at the same time? What rollers should I clean to ensure that machine runs smoothly. I know i should contact a service professional, but i'm a DIY kinda person, and can handle the task. Any help would be appreciated!

    Andrew

PS: Could use a copy of SST for this model if somebody is willing to share!?! Don't want to overstep my boundaries by asking...Sorry if I did.

We don't rebuild, simply buy a new drum assembly and your problems are over...

Buy a new drum. Don't waste your time rebuilding, it will not last long and you will end up spending more.

                  Why???
If it works 100k, why change it before. This machine has reached 3million and it's developer assy is in very bad condition, so i believe it could make even more if it was new.

Think I may have an old GP215 cylinder in the garage somewhere I can send you for the cost of a 24 pack of beer , a squirrel , 1x lederhosen ( XL ) and a pack of Malboro's.

Just change the whole drum and be done with. What do they cost now?....$100 or something?

...like i said "for best result".At 100k, print/copy tend to fade. I don't wait till my customer call to complaint when I've notice the issue a day before or so....time is precious & time is also $$$. Afterall the cost is low. 5x lower then the original drum.

                            IR3300 developer assy lifespan = 480k>500k
Should be replace if you intend to use it longer.
                            IR3300 machine lifespan = 5 millions
Get it overhaul if you intend to use it longer.

When you install the new drum don't forget to do the adjustment in service mode or it won't go it's full life expectancy and will fail early. Very important with this model.
                              • Start Service mode. * / 2&8 / *.
                              • Go to "COPIER>FUNCTION>DPC>D-GAMMA".
                              • Press the OK key. The machine will pick-up paper from cassette 2. Paper size does not matter. The machine ends APVC correction by delivering a blank sheet.
                              • Press the reset key twice to end service mode.
Failure to follow the above steps will decrease the drum life.
