Canon Imageclass MF5730 paper feed problemo

So....This one on a long print job 10+ pgs or more will be printing quite nicely, all sounds well, when all of a sudden it sounds like the paper feed clutch is cycling twice per page and this causes a paper jam. I changed the paper feed roller yesterday but that made no difference. The casette drawer, to me, seems a bit sloppy when in place and at times seems to be creeping outward. This allows a larger gap between the sep pad and roller...but then there is the double cycling sound and that is what is my concern...........a author I'm not
