    E070 code---Check home pos sensor

    There is an error of the detection of the ITB home position.
    xx=01: ITB home position sensor

    Turn off the main power, check the drive of ITB, and then, turn on the main power.

    Is the primary transfer pressure lever engaged?

      it might be the home position sticker on ITB belt dirty or home position sensor.

          Well for starters you need to visually inspect the sensor to see if it is dirty. From your question---I suspect you haven't worked on many of these. Buy the service manual and familiarize yourself with disassembly and location of sensors.

              If you are not familiar with this model it's going to be tough for you to service it. The home pos sensor is only one possible cause for this code. I have seen a torn ITB belt and other stuff cause this. Not an easy machine to work on if your not trained. You may want to reconsider handling this service call. You may do more harm than good taking it apart to diagnose it.
