    CLC 3220 scanning issue

    Hi guys,
    Customer has CLC3220 with Fiery.
Installed Network Scan gear, go to import document from microsoft word, scanner is recognised ok, click on scan to pull document from copier & then the CLC shuts down & reboots!!!
Suggestions appreciated because its driving me nuts!!!

take the memory dimms out of 3220 clean ends and re-seat them

or clear & re-enter the IP address/ then re boot

Is that the only time the machine reboots?

Does this happen when you print?

Are you putting the machine online. You didn't mention that step.

Do you have another program you can pull it into?

Full Adobe , Scan/Fax viewer under XP ?

Thanks for your reply CanonSco, to be honest i have only tried microsoft applications to pull scans, i.e. Word, Powerpoint etc...
The Issue has been the same on these.
Im assuming you are referring to something like PaperPoint??

Yes , although im sure you can with Scan/FAx viewer under XP.

Had issues with machine / pc crashes down to scanner name being too long / incompatible with Word.
Also had CLC Fiery issues with Appletalk being turned on.
