    Reference Chart

Good day all, does any one have a reference chart with the canon Boot rom software and what languages and RUI goes with what?

for example: if I have boot rom FG3-1743-000 version 23.40, what version of system software goes with this version, RUI etc.

If any one have info please send me a private message to my in box.

This is hard to keep up with.
Since Canon is always changing system software.

Canon used too have reference charts for firmware but they stop doing it.

I'm pretty sure you'll have something.

In the last 2 weeks, the same question was asked, and answered. There is no current chart that I am aware of. The information you seek is available in the tech pub that announces the versions of software as they become available. That is each tech pub, for each version, for each model. I am not willing to undertake that task even for myself. I list the models, main controller version, date, and tech pub numbers for each release. I find I have no need of matching the rest of the versions, since I carry only the latest ones in my laptop through SST. Update the software in one fell swoop and you will not need the knowledge you seek.

May I ask what you would use such a listing for?

I had a case where I had to downgrade a machine, IR3300-N to IR3300 and someone move the original boot ROM from where it was placed, and I had to find another, I just needed to verify the system software and so with the correct RUI and Languages.

I was able to find my copy, I know I had one somewhere, but I had to much files to go through.

Thanks again for all the help.

Why would you want to downgrade the machine? You lose the printing and scanning features, not to mention RUI.
