I know that copies can be limited in service mode also. ID Management > Select the arrow keys to display the department whose age limit you want to change > Select the department > Press edit > Select 'Turn Limits On/Off and Set page limits' and press the desired function.* To cancel setting a page limit restriction for a function, press [Off] under function's name.

u never know/stranger things have appeared with further investigations
usually ,copy limit does not show up unless programed in/
i suppose it could be a software glitch ?

There always something strange being threads like this.
I agree with you, that message doesn't come up for any other function besides Copy limits. As we know where that gets set up at, Dept ID..
I guess we will wait and see what else molson has to say.
Chances are he won't post for another two years.Comment
