    E061-0070 on canon clc 1160

Hi lads and lassies.Has anyone come across Eo61-0070 on clc 1160?.I am not familiar with m/c but in the manual it mentions an environment sensor problem. The customer is having building work done at the moment so I cleaned out all the filters in the m/c thinking that the m/c was overheating.Stil no joy.Am I barking up the wrong tree?.Any thouhts on this would be appreciated.

I forgot to mention that the reading display/analog was Temp:41 degrees. humidity:10.33%. ABS humidity:4.97g.I removed the environment sensor{under the display panel}and cleaned the contacts but to no avail.

I think there was a techpub or something in the knowlagebase on that a while back. Something about the front door not actuating the laser shutter assy.
Other possibilities-you could try replacing the Environmental pcb & sensor.
      What's an M/C?

Blaze m/c is short for machine.

SRV E061-0070 = Grid bias output value is 900v or more, have'nt worked these for years.

You are right. I was basing my advice on the poster saying that the manual refers that subcode to the env sensor. I was being too lazy I guess & should have looked it up. Thanks for pointing that out.

I'd start with primary coro rewire/replacement, check drum life and replace if possible.

Rewire the primary and replaced the grid or replace the whole primary corona. Also if the drum is old it can cause environmental errors like E61.

The item that is box in orange is the Grid.

20k & 50k PM kit useage is still the best approach to servicing these old beasties. If they get PM'd on schedule, using the kits, they are normally fairly docile...
