    installation of scanner in IR 3170

    how to install scanner in IR 3170? Kindly let me know the correct driver for UFR II version. Give me the link if possible.

                  Do you have the color network scangear. You must have the color one, it will not work if you have the black and white one.

                          Don't forget that Network ScanGear (color and B&W) are really only drivers.

                          You need an application that is capable of scanning to actually scan, such as Acrobat (not Reader), Irfanview, etc...

                          The driver installs a program, but it is to only select your MFP. This is actually an applet - necessary, but not very useful on its own.
