E804 Controller fan error-

0000- Stop of the power fan was detected.
Check the connection of the power fan.
Replace the power fan.

0004 -Stop of the controller fan was detected.
Check the connection of the controller fan.
Replace the controller fan.


E804-0000: Power supply exhaust fan 1 (FM1) is faulty

Since the power supply exhaust fan 1 (FM1) did not rotate upon power-on and the error code "E804-0000" was displayed, the power supply exhaust fan 1=was replaced with a new one for solution.

- E804-0000 can be displayed when the shutdown of the power supply exhaust fan 1 is detected.
Field Remedy
1. With the main power switch turned ON, check to see if the power supply exhaust fan 1 (FM1) rotates.
2. If the power supply exhaust fan 1 does not rotate, re-fit J627 connector of the connector board and the connector of the power supply exhaust fan 1 (FM1).
3. If the symptom still occurs, replace the power supply exhaust fan (FM1) with a new one.

5: Delivery cooling fan (FM5)
6: Manual feed cooling fan (FM6)
7: Delivery vertical path cooling fan (FM8)
8: ITB cooling power supply fan (FM11)
9: Vertical path delivery exhaust fan (FM13)
10: Face-down tray cooling fan (FM12)
3)Press [OK].
4)Check the operation by pressing [FAN-ON].

Fan 2 was bad, they sure don't make it easy to get to it!
