Then when cleared the jam & tried to reprint, the error code E14-0000 would reappear.

Appreciate your thoughts. Might the fuser have to be removed & motor checked? Thanks.

I believe so/ did the breaker pop again ???/

if so could be a motor overload

Breaker not popping. Just am able to use it to get past the boot up phase & print 1 copy, then the jam, then the next print creates the E14 error.

Might it also be the fuser being bad? Paper is going through the fuser but stopping immediately thereafter. Thanks.

OK guys, thank you for all your help. Problem was the DC Controller PCB. Power fluctuation/variation damaged the circuit board. Unit working now.

Might anyone have the service mode procedure to correct the DADF automatic feed & scan procedure. The image is a bit crooked when using the DADF. Image is fine when manually put on glass. I understand the new DC Controller PCB requires a bit of tweeking for some settings. Thank you.

Thanks Brian. What values should be inputted, or is it a trial & error operation? Thank you.

                ?? Did u have a P PRINT of your DCON/RCON settings ??
There are DCON settings that also must be put in when replacing a DC CONTROLLER

                FEEDER>ADJUST
                DOCST

Use it to adjust the original leading edge registration when the ADF is used.
                • A higher setting decreases the leading edge margin.
                • The data is stored on the ADF controller PCB.
Range of adjustment -10 to +10 (in 0.5 mm)

                Using the Mode

                1) Make a print of the Test Chart, and check the position of the image.
                2) Select the item, and change the setting to adjust.
                3) Press the OK key.
                4) Make a print of the Test Chart once again, and check to make sure that
the image position is as indicated.

The settings may be under the panel on inside of front door.

When u replaced that DC CONTROLLER, without printing out the P PRINT machine settings, it screwed everything up. I hope u have a copy or the original settings somewhere.
Because it will be a pain to put back all the settings on a trial and error basis. U will need a manual for that
                    .

                    FEED-ADJ is for the Copier/Printer

FEEDER>DOSCT is for the DADF (Document Feeder on top)

Look for Documents inside front cover-mentioned by Brian8506

In all fairness to dbmoylan, the machine was in an unusable state to print anything out but congrats on getting it fixed. Isn't there a df-y adjustment under copier/feed adj that adjusts the y direction of df? I'm gonna check today.

                        There is COPIER>ADJUST>ADJ-XY

                        ADJ-Y-DF
Use it to adjust the read start position in main scanning direction when the ADF is in use

                        (ADF horizontal registration adjustment).
                        Range of 100 to 400 (‘1’ being 0.1 mm)

All posters need to be aware that when clearing DCON/ RCON/ MMI/ or MN-CON there will be issues if u don't have any door specs or paper print outs of settings/ if u don't have them & u have the manual -it's all a trial and error process to get them back,
