Hello,
I have trouble on copier IR6870 Ci with attached finisher R1.
Occasionally error code E000540-8003 appears. When coper is restarted copier starts to work normaly. I already check finisher.

Have anybody had similary problem?

Your problem is the finisher. It has been found that the lower safety cover can go under the actuator for the tray 1 switch. If the safety cover is under the actuator a E540
