e025-001 5065 imagerunner Blown toner hopper motors open up fuse 15

Does anyone know where to get these fuses on the dc controller. M9 or m10 short out and blows the fu15 fuse on the dc controller. I know I can send in for repair but its easy to replace m10 and m9 and the fuse. Does anyone know where to buy just the fuse ? Ideas? Sources? Been there and done it?

Machine is fixed. The fix is to replace m10 and m9 plus the dc controller. If you dont replace the motors you can blow out the fuse on the new dc cont.

Im looking to stock a fuse for the future! Where to find?

Radio Shack/ can order any type of fuse/ if they don't have in stock

U can order them from Canon here in Europe, i just don;t have the numbers at hand. Other cheap alternative was to order the 3200 fuse pcb.

U could even use ordernary glass fuses with wires soldered to them.

And be sure to instruct the operator how to properly load the toner cartridge in the machine, as all my experiences with this issue were operator induced by improperly missing the fin on the end of the cartridge, binding the whole works up!!!

yeah i know radio shack and my local electronics joints can get the fuse. I was wondering if anyone had a solid source they would like to share. The 3200 pcb sounds interesting and I dont mine finding something like that if it doesnt cost much.

BTW the one that I found blown had an empty toner and that place had been trained not to load wrong so just an FYI. thanks guys

Or the damn canon just has toner deposit all over the hoppers outside, short circuiting the motors.

in my case the problem was in dc and m9 with short circuit, caused by the breaking of the wire in front of the cooler cylinder
