    Darker printout c3220 from computer

    The color printout from computer to C3220 turns out much darker than what appears on LCD monitor. Need help to match the color as close as possible.

    In fact, this has always been the case with printouts from irc3200/3220.in order to have good color match,you need to have a clc3220+a controller c1/c2;
    Otherwise,you can play with the brightness setting in the driver or enable canofine using manual color setting.
    I have even tried different icc profiles but it doesn't change a thing in the printout quality!!

        hi

        If i still remember,in order to connect an imagepass c2 to an irc3220,we need to add an I/F board on the motherboard of the irc.

        How is the X-Rite compared to the Es-1000??Is it better?

              By converting a image file to CYMK format from RGB and some adjustment in the printer driver software, I managed to improve the colour printout.

                Monitors lie...You can display the same document on two monitors side by side and the colors are different

                  Also monitors have color calibrations,depending on your work you're doing.

                    Cheap ones are limited. If you arent entering monitor characteristics to set the monitor up(Gamma,white point,etc),then it is cheap. Graphic designers don't design by the colors they see on screen,you assign a color according to design.They are concerned about the OUTPUT in relation to what it is supposed to be,not what it looks like on screen. Nobody proofs with a 3200. Like Teckat said,get some tools if you want ACCURATE color matching
