Error 100 In IR8070

Unable to over come Error 100, Check the Door lever there is no problem, How to Check the laser Unit is good also How to check the DC board is good.

could be faulty BD pcb, faulty DC controller, faulty laser driver pcb 1, faulty laser driver pcb 2 or a fault in the wiring.
Have also seen the relay pcb resolve the E100

I do not think there is a laser checker for this model, but these machines have been known to have issues with the laser for quite a while

Checked the Laser by turning ON both the A and B laser through the Service Mode. Both the laser are Illuminating. Then it was BD board fault?

Replace the BD PCB till getting the Error can any body Figure out This. the error happen after removing and placing the Fixing unit,is any thing related to it.

Where is relay PCB located How to check the Relay board for fault.

Since error occurred after removing & replacing the fixing unit, RETRACE your your steps. check the connections to make sure they r contacting properly. u may also need a service manual to help u troubleshoot this problem.but start with obvious hings first, retrace u r steps.

Ya check all the Conectors, i can see the laser is illuminating, change the BD board the problem is not rectified. I think the problem may be in DC controller board is there any way to check DC controller Board. also if Intensity of laser is low to cause the problem.

For E100 90% of the time it just needs a new laser unit. The only "free" fixes are laser shutter/door interlock problems or the values for Copier->Adjust-> laser don't match whats on the sticker on the laser.

Error 100 in IR8070

Try to RESET with service mode; COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR. Press "OK". TURN POWER OFF & THEN BACK ON. THE laser doesn't simply go kaput like that unless it was on its way to failure. check ALSO DOOR MECHANISM. THE LASER UNIT is controlled by the DC CONTROLLER, it could also b a culprit, try to substitute, but that's going a bit far. These substitution method should help u zero on the culprit. wish u luck

Check the operation of the Front Door Mount Assembly. The Absorption lever (item 3) may stick on the Crank lever (item 5) which assist in opening the laser shutter.
