During a recent print job all sheets started having this weird 1" patterned cyan band on the right side of all sheets. Luckily I was printing a centered 8.5"x5.5" image on glossy paper that is going to have all edges trimmed so no prints were wasted.
I took the cyan print cartridge apart and emptied the waste toner and re assembled the cartridge. The first print was fine, then it started again on all prints after that. I shook/knocked the cartridge gently and again, the next page was fine but all pages after had the band.
I refill my cartridges but this one failed on it's original toner supply (it was never refilled), is there anyway I can fix this cartridge so I can get a few refills out of it? I have a feeling it may be the squeegee that's damaged but when I had the cartridge in pieces it seemed visually OK. If not I guess I'll just keep it for the drum and replace the drum of another cartridge when another one's drum fails.
Thanks
