      Replace the potential sensor unit.

      - Replace the laser scanner unit.

      - Replace the DC controller PCB

Sometimes, replacement of parts may not solve this problem because the cause could be failure of drum discharge.I have always solved it this way:COPIER>OPTION>BODY>PO-CNT.Interchange the values of PO-CNT and press ok and test the copies accordingly. In case the copies are too dark, adjust the primary corona and go thru;COPIER>ADJUST>DEVELOP;and try to adjust the values of BIAS and HVT-DE.

HeeHee, I've seen this one a couple times and with the few ir6570 copiers that I have had that had this problem it has been the fan assembly is broken. So what you will notice is that when you remove that beige fan assembly in order to get at the charge coronas it will have a broken piece of plastic that would normally be used to mount the left side of the assembly to the copier. What is really happening is that the housing right there has a pin in it that inserts into the frame of the copier and pushes the laser shutter open mechanically. You've either got to replace that plastic fan assembly or find some way to harness it onto the copier frame so that it will continue to press the pin through the copier frame and thus opening the shutter for the laser. I tend to do the latter for the repair job.

I would sugest you to check Pre-exposure lamp (LED) located in drum unit.

Check bearings on pressure roller for wear and polish drum.

Before 3 days i had the same problem in a same family machine and exposure lamp (led) was defected.
After changing exposure lamp everything is ok.
