    Canon IR 105 E000532-002

    Hello to everyone,

I am seeing a canon IR 105 and i am having a error code E000532-002.

I think it is in the finisher but i do not have service manual and do not know what to do?

Also it start the display normally and it says in the end of the display " Finsher Can not be used " and if you try to make any copies it shows the error code E000532-002.

Please help to locate and resolve the problem!!!

Check the stapler movement. I just had that the other day and the stapler had jumped off its track

The stapler does not leave stapler home position when the stapler motor is
        driven or 0. 5 sec.
The stapler does not return to stapler home position when the stapler motor
        is driven for 0.5 sec.

The stapler shift home position sensor does not go OFF when the stapler
shift motor is driven for 4 sec.
The stapler shift home position is not detected when the stapler shift motor
        is driven for 4 sec.

Make sure you can move the stapler all the way to the back and forward to home. You might check the sensors and the gear on the stapler shift motor. if those are OK you might need the wire bundle from the staple body to the cont. bd.

Check the wiring harness going to the stapler. The stapler pivots alot and this causes the wires to break. Very common, even on old NP finishers.

had a similar problem on a c5840 finisher, the strap guiding the staple carriage was out of his original position, causing an enormous sound and getting the same error as you.
