Re: ir3300 system software
Whats up jwalton4th from Springfield, MO sounds like your a nice guy on this site for a change and not just trying to sell something like this jack from Las Vegas thats all about the money..Manuals$4U it should be called money for him. I've been reading on this site now for a couple of years and finally joined today because I'm getting sick of this guy. I own a small business repairing copiers now for the last 13 years and repairing them for Kodak for 12 years and after going out on my own I needed a resource for help once or twice a year on problems and this is one of the best sites that I have come by. Iv'e been putting off joining because I don't use it that much and haven't had the time and didn't want to get crap like the stuff this crap head gives to people because they don't want to buy it and I don't blame them. How many firmware and software updates do you think I have bought over the years--ALOT I'm now going to get involved with this site and help with problems if I can on Canon machines. ThanksComment

Re: ir3300 system software
Without manuals4you we wouldn't have the website and just because his personality doesn't mesh with yours you shouldn't stay away. Chime in and help out when you can or ask when you have an issue. But please read the rules before bashing.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.Comment

Re: ir3300 system software
You do realize this post originated in Nov.2010 -
The person u speak of who sells Manuals, pays the host of this site forum to advertise and sell their product.
There are many posters in here who choose to give away or trade for hardware and software.
Manual offers need to be done in private e-mails-
I personally have given away an enormous amount of stuff. I now try to be more discrete on who receives this information.
As you will learn, this can be a cut throat forum.

Re: ir3300 system software
Hi Jwalton4th! Welcome to the lovely copytechnet.com forum. Although MOST of the people on here are friendly and helpful some are not. What many people on here forget is that most people stumble on these types of forums when they're initially doing research or trying to solve a problem. So of course it is natural to be "in need" of something when you first join this site. Of the four or five trade related forums I frequent this one has the most bullsh*t and the most unfriendly attitude towards new and some old members. Fortunately, if you can ride out the crap some of the nicer members will help you out...and they are pretty helpful and experienced in what they do. I have a few Canon manuals but deal mostly with NEC which is some rebrands of Kyocera Mita and Konica Minolta. I also do a lot of desktop stuff like HP, Lexmark, etc.
Ya know people, just because you pay to play doesn't give you free reign to do or act however you want. Reminds me of the company that had a top salesman that was a jerk to everybody, so when the company finally let him go, everyone else's sales went up 30% company wide. That's from a good book called the "No *sshole Rule."
Honestly, there's no way our firm would ever pay to advertise on this site. It would reflect negatively on our company advertising on such a drama non-sense place.
Hit me up if you ever need help.Comment

Re: ir3300 system software
A wise man once said, One should take their own advice first.
I haven't frequented this site nearly as often as I used to and honestly I don't miss the crap that goes on here. Take a look around, many people have left and many more will...it's only a matter of time before a good alternative to this site is created if one hasn't been already. You see Paul, 99.99% of other forums would NEVER let you get away with what you get away with here, advertiser or not.
You should try to get along with other members a little better.
