    * 2 8 * 2 COPIER > OPTION >USER NW-SCAN Enabling or disabling the network scan function
    2
    <Setting range>
    0: Network scan function disabled [Default]
    1: Network scan function enabled
    Notes:
    Not changeable for anything in Japan
    Always 1 for PSPCL outside Japan
    Changeable for other outside Japan

      Hi,

      Level2 > COPIER > OPTION > USER > NW-SCAN

      Enabling or disabling the network scan function

      <Setting range>

      0: Network scan function disabled [Default]
      1: Network scan function enabled
      Notes:
      Not changeable for anything in Japan
      Always 1 for PSPCL outside Japan
      Changeable for other outside Japan

      Good luck!

        You need a printer kit.

        This adjustment is normally for the IR2200-IR5000 series

          I may be wrong, but isn't it "UI-Ext" for this series? I also think that it was in Service Mode Level 2.

          I had a customer some years ago who bought a ton of iR3570s with Universal Send who wanted to disable TWAIN scanning, and it was on by default.

            You also need to make sure that "Enable Dedicated Port" is set to "On".

              "UI-Ext
              Is whether or not to display the extended screen of the operating section
              <Setting range> 0: Do not display 1: Display [Default](iR2270/2870/3570/4570series,iR2230/2830/3530/4530series)

              The machine needs to be a network printer in order to the scan feature.
