    Can't print to iR 5070

I'm currently having trouble printing to a Canon that we got from a customer site recently. I'm trying to set it up for a new client, but whenever I send a print job, it just fails after about 30 seconds. I have it setup on the network properly, and I can access the web interface as well to configure the device. Whenever I try to print though, I get nothing. The steps that I have taken so far include:

Used two different computers, both running Windows XP.
Directly connect it to my computer, to eliminate the network.
I've tried the UFRII, PCL 5e, PCL 6, PS3 drivers.
Reset the machine to factory settings.
Tried RAW as well as LPR printing.
    Tried disabling SNMP.
    Tried disabling bidirectional support.
I've also pinged the machine continuously while printing to it to make sure it is not dropping off the network or losing connectivity.

The machine works fine besides this printing issue, and I just am having no luck getting it to work. If anyone else has seen this before or has any suggestions please let me know, since I just feel like I'm beating my head against the wall at this point. Thanks.

There is not a fiery attached to the machine, no.

As for if it was printing before, I'm really not sure. We were not the company servicing it before, and there is nothing about any printing issues in the service log. I'm not even sure if it was setup to print before.

on the control panel hit the counter check button. Then on the touch screen hit device configuration and page down. It should tell you if there are any print options installed or not. for example UFR II, PCL or PS

I checked the device configuration and it lists the Product Name, Main Board Version, Controller Version and Scanner Version and that is it. There is nothing about print options at all.

Is there a separate printer board that needs to be added to the machine? We don't normally work on Canons, so I was under the impression if there was a network card in the machine that it would be able to print.

no all Canon machines come with NIC cards regardless of print options. You can also go into service mode (* 2,8 *) and go into copier>display>version. The BOOT should have an 'N' next to it. no 'N' no print. You need to order a multi-pdl print package. If you need help acquiring one I can help you out.

Thank you so much for your help. It seems that the machine does not have a print package installed. About how much does the multi-pdl print package run? My boss thinks that he might be able to get one, but if you'd be able to help us that would be great too.
