Turn the machine off and check the waste toner container. If the container is full, empty the container. Clean the inside and outside of the container's neck with alcohol. Be sure that the neck is clear and not soiled with toner before placing it back into the machine. Turn the machine on and check to see if the code went away.
If the container is empty and the code is still displayed, check the neck of the container. Turn the machine off and check the container,if the neck is dirty, clean the inside and outside with alcohol before placing it back into the machine. Turn the machine on and check to see if the code went away.

If the machine still displays the code after the bottle is emptied and the neck clean; check the sensor, the sensor connections to and from the DC controller PCB for continuity, and the proper positioning of the sensor. Replace the sensor if it is damaged or excessively soiled with toner.
