    DADF-N1 on Imagerunner 2830 doesn't read 8.5 x 14 paper

Does anyone how to fix this problem. DADF-N1 doesn't detect paper size as 8.5 by 14. Thanks, Mark

good advice from teckat as always.

Also make sure that the upper flag on the DADF is in place and not broken off. The machine might think that the original is LTR-R if the flag is not there and blocking the sensor properly.

Thanks teckat. It worked! I had to press the reset button repeatedly to get it to recognize the 2,8 buttons to get into user mode. Also my machine had the star button labelled as additional functions. Thanks, Mark
