    Per Canon>
    imagePRESS C1
This is all tested at 6>8 %pct. Color coverage on Letter paper> per Copy/Print
Canon can't even explain this below>

Maximum Monthly Copy Volume / Optimum Performance
    imagePRESS C1
Suggested maximum monthly print/copy volume =Up to 100,000 impressions
Optimum performance range (prints/copies per month)= Approximately 3,000 to 35,000 impressions
Note: The maximum monthly volume (print/copy) represents the maximum
number of pages the machine can produce within a one-month period (based
upon letter size paper). However, the device should not be used to produce
this or a greater volume on a consistent monthly basis

Thanks Teckat. What, in your experience, is the MTBF on this unit?

It all depends on what the customer is Printing/Pct. of Color/Paper type/ & Volume

This model is made to be used & not abused /
Remember even though it has the word Press in it - a Press it is Not

        It is a COPY Machine-

Got it. I always like to cut the manufacturers recommended volume in half (at least). How do you feel it performs on cover stock (100# gloss cover, 12 pt C2S)?

keep in mind that the gloss cover stock is going to slow this machine down significantly. We have a publication house that prints nothing but covers from one of these on a 110 lb gloss cover 12x18 around 35K a month. The units does require a little more attention than normal, but the customer knows that downtime is going to happen and the time to clean and repair is not going to be short either.
