Has anyone come across a E020-0203 error on a canon Irc3480 after replacing a new drum K ?

I'd have to look it up. but E020 always relates to toner. Pull the drum... shake it up and see if the code clears

thank you but tried that. I'm with you I believe that the toner is not getting into the drum unit, but don't know if the toner feed assembly can be replaced or if the whole unit must be replaced because is a color copier.

Was there an issue with the drum that you replaced? That error point to toner feed into the drum unit. Those hopper assemblies are light duty at best IMO and the gears strip out easily. You can order the parts for the hopper and repair the one you have, but it can be time consuming repairing the unit. replacing the Black Drum along with cleaning the Patch Sensors and laser dust proof glass has resolved the issue for us in the past as well.
