    [Error Code] Canon 2380 TCP/IP error when i trying scan to smb

    Hey plz i need ur help i have 5 Canon 2380 it's work fine but when i try to scan on smb sever give me error tcp/ip eventhough that i can ping my server and brows it and choose my folder and i give on it full permission but it's still not working can u help me

      Is this a new setup you can't get going? Or an existing scan via smb that occasionally fails?

      Search the connectivity forum... there are several good threads about how to fix this.

      New setups need to change the folder permissions with at least Change or Full Control. Make sure a firewall isn't blocking file sharing.

      Intermittent failure could be a lot of things, some have suggested putting a switch between the copier and the network.

              thnx D_L_P for ur replay at all it's first time to setup scan via SMB on canon 2380 printer but at all i can brows my server form printer normally .i also set full control permissions on my folder i'm sure it's correct bcoz i use also Knonica c252 and it's work fine but with canon i couldn't it's give me TCP\IP error even though everything is correct . thnx in advance
