    IR3225 Finisher problem

    Hi.

I've got new IR 3225 and used saddle finisher q4 (with buffer pass-E1).

I know that this IR works with Finisher-AE1 but old finisher q4 fits to IR 3225.
Copier see everything, staples option, tray destination etc.(even in service mode i can see finisher version).

The problem is that every copy or print, machine don't deliver to finisher tray, even if i setup this in common setting (option tray destination).

    It looks like this:

    Finisher-Q3-& Saddle Finisher-Q4 is only compatible with imageRUNNER 2270 / 2870 / 3570 / 4570
    imageRUNNER
    3170

    Some Options for iR3225

    OPT.JPG

    Saddle-Finisher AE1/2
    FINISHER-S1
    Inner 2way Tray-D1
    Additional finisher Tray-B1
    Buffer Pass Unit-E1/2

Just because it fits, does not mean it will work.

This also happened on Sorters for the Color machines.

I am surprised that it did not give you an error when you plugged it in and that the machine sees the finisher. Check in service mode if it has logged any finisher related errors, or if it is in LIMITED FUNCTIONS mode.

          No errors, no jams.

Only alarm code in service mode (empty staples, i think):

In common settings LF was OFF and if i remember, if you set this to ON, prints should go to finisher but you can't use staples and sorting.
