my ir6570 and 3570 had a touch screen problem. when i touch the button on the touch screen it wont work, i have to touch lower the button then it goes ok. does this problem can be reset in service mode or need to replace a new panel?
Go to service mode/copier/function/panel/touch check. You should get a screen with a cross in the upper left crner. Touch that and it will move clockwise around the screen with each touch. That should realign it. If you can't get the cross to move, the touchscreen may be too far out of alignment and you'll have to replace the lcd.
Try this. Done several times and it always worked.
Remove the control panel and open it. The LCD has a flat small cable attaching to the PCB. Open the lock and Remove it gently, clean the contacts where the cable is attached with another metal like precision screws then try to make its contact to the cable tighter. You might need to remove that lock as it blocks you to the contacts points.
Dont clean the cable's contacts, only the one where it is attached, on the PCB side.
