    IRAdvance5030 Int Finisher A1 issue

Hi guys, I have a 5030i with an internal A-1 finisher.

When the finisher pulls the paper back in to staple, it does so ever so squint resulting in mis- stapling when stapling the front of the paper.

This happens regardless of paper size / orientation.

Normal group / sort is ok. Staple issue only, but only when stapling the front corners.

Offset rollers changed, running Version 55.XX software. Finisher removed and checked over, nothing obvious to see.

Unfortunately I was under a little pressure at that visit, and didnt spend as much time as I would have liked. I will be returning soon. The customer is happy to a degree as stapling the rear corners is fine for now.

Yeah , done a year or so ago.

Have had a few issues with the gripper rails that sit under the gripper breaking / cracking , but this one does not seem to have suffered from that. Although I have had 1 where the crack was very difficult to see.

Check that the tray is mounted perfectly level.

Have a look at the gripper rail
Have been told that it can snap
There is a new rail out, (Has a metal strip down it to stop is snapping)
Also update the Firmware to V13.02 for the inner finisher

Yes , turned out that's what it was. Sorry not been around much to update you guys here.

Since then I have replaced 10 snapped gripper rails.
Now carry them. I have started replacing them as a matter of course now.

And yes, it had v13.02 on it anyway.
