    [Error Code] Canon Laser Class 710

    I have a Canon Fax 710 giving a System Error E245. This error is not in the service manual. Anyone out there seen this before & what the cause is ? Thanks Murphy

      E245= Counter Memory Issue
      LASER CLASS 700 Series

      The error can be generated due to a communication problem between the counter PCB and the Main PCB (in this case that would be the SCNT). It will also occur if a counter PCB is transferred from one device to another.
