    [Jamming] Canon IR-5050n with AD1 finisher

    I have a problem with this model giving 1001 jam codes in finisher . Not all the time, but enough to drive me crazy. Paper stops inside finisher at sensor without damage to paper. Happens both LCT's and I've changed the finisher before. Any thoughts?

          1001 Jam Code
          This jam is a delay to PI 103, the Finisher Inlet Sensor

          from old pub.
          re-affix the clear photo transistor cover located on the upper inlet guide of the punch unit. Below is a photo of the guide.
