    Canon finisher V1

Have problem with finisher V1 connected on IR 7095.

Finisher work eratic, tray A during work go up and down (abot 5cm up and down).

Tray B, during work start to go down and does not stop.

In error history have E500, E540 and E711. Have 7105 SM but do not have SM for finisher.

Try initializing the finisher sensors. Make sure the tray position sensors are clean first.

            E500 0001 Communication error
The communication with the host machine is interrupted.
Check the power coming from the power supply of the finisher.
5volts brown wires / 24 volts red wires.

Check the connection of the Arcnet cable and that it is installed correctly.
Power cycle the unit and boot the machine in the proper order.

            E540 Tray A shift motor/sensor
            E711 Puncher Commutation

Even though it's not listed as a possible cause for E540, we've had a couple that were fixed by replacing the switching regulator PCB.

Check the door microswitch assembly on the finisher. I have seen the metal bracket that actuates it get twisted. Gives various finisher errors. If the photo interrupt is blocked properly but the switch is not closed it will not even tell you to close the door.
