I HAVE A CUSTOMER WITH THIS UNIT, HE WANTS TO ADD PRINT AND SCAN THE INTERNET SEEMS TO THINK I NEED Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-C1IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE? FIRMWARE? I USUALLY DONT WORK ON CANON, IN FACT HAVE ONLY CONNECTED IR 1025'S IS THIS GONNA BE A DECISION I REGRET? SOMEONE HELP ME OUT.

thanks for your help teckat, is there a firmware flash i have to do? and will this enable scan to email? i see smb but no mention of email.

I believe u need to order/install a Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-C1 from Canon

best bet is to have a Authorized Canon Trained Tech to inspect your wanted set-up
tell them what customer intentions are

You can not scan to email or SMB with iR3300. Just with iR3300i.
This smb is SMB Printing.
