    IR 3570 problem

    Hello to everyone,

    i have a Canon Ir 3570 and i want to scan with it but in the main menu there is no scan option.

    I have other Canon IR 3570 and all of them in the main menu right to the copy option have scan option but in this one there is no such option.

    I have installed the scan driver and when i search for scanner in the network it finds my Canon ir 3570 but can not scan because i have to make the scanner online in order to scan.

    Is there any option to activate the scan function from the main menu??
    Please help.

    Go to
    COPIER > OPTION > BODY

    then check
    W/SCNR Setting whether a scanner is present (Copy model)
    <Setting range>
    0: Printer model [Default]
    1: Model with scanner

    I think this is what you want.

      If you want pull scanning, you have to install network scan gear on your computer,launch the tool,discover scanners,etc. If you want push scanning,you have to install(and purchase) universal send.

        Hi mate

        Also check that in service mode level 2 that Copier- Option- User/Body?- UISCAN is set to one. This turns on the scan tab on the home screen of the copier.

        Let us know how you go
