    Modifications of the Fixing Assemblies 53T and 16T/31T Gears

    During the refresh operation, additional torque is generated upon the 53T and 16T/31T Gears when the Refresh Roller (FM3-1648-000) becomes engaged. This added torque may then cause the 53T and 16T/31T Gears to break, as well as cause the Small Gear Fixed Plate to become damaged.
