iRC 4580 printing darker than normal

iRC 4580 printing darker than normal
Cleaned ITB, did grad adj and calibration and the image is still darker than normal. What kind of adjustments in the service mode should I play with, please?

    Thanks in advance,

why don't you lighten the image up in the print driver?
It is under your image tab in the preferences.

Tried that and it worked, but I think the image should be lighter by default. It has to be adjusted in the service mode but do not want to play with all the adjustments. I will check the manual ...
Btw, how do you find the same option when the driver is installed on a Mac, please? Thanks!

there really aren't any good density adjustments in service mode on the IRC models...not in my opinion anyway. I would make sure that all your densities on the user side are set correctly and that no one messed with the defaults for the image pass. You can also try changing your default targets for the CMYK simulation profiles and targets or changing your rendering style as well.

on the MAC I have no idea off the top of my head and I do not have one near me to take a look for you.
