    [Misc] Canon ir2230

    Good day all, I have an issue with an ir2230 and here goes, I have done numerous upgrades of these machines from copier to printer but this one just seems to have me thinking.

    Install the necessary boot rom and hard drive boot into download mode and install software, softwar loaded fine machine reboots and complete installation, just the I have the error code e602 002.

    I have formatted the drive before loading, I have reloaded the software several times but each time it finish minstall software and reboots I have an error message.

    Any suggestions.

      Some files missing with reloaded software.First we need to know why do you done an upgrade on this machine?What kind of issues
      do you have before?

          U have a corrupt HDD/ Get a new one
          U will need to Remove/UNINSTALL the firmware from SST/
          then go into C:\Canon File Folder\SST System Software Folder\SST Files-
          and completely delete the 2230 folder

          ***Before u uninstall 2230 and delete 2230 folder- make sure u have a copy of the 2230 Firmware -because u need to re-register it in SST

          What Firmware are u using on 2230 ??
          v30.03 HDD or v62.02 ROM ???

              I am actually upgrading the machine as it was a copier only, I am now upgrading to network printer/copier this is the last in a list of 20 that I have been upgrading. All others went fine just this one that's bugging me,I checked and replace the hard drive but no difference, I check my boot rom and use a new one no change, I tell u this is puzzling hence I am contacting the team for any other input.

                  I am using 2230hd version of the system software. Which includes all common/pdl software
