C3200 Paper stops at ITB transfer point, etc, etc, etc.....

I am not a tech but do have a fair comprehension of these machines (maybe, ha!)

    Several issues with one machine.

One issue is that while running the machine sometimes simply shuts down. Screen goes white and it simply stops in it's tracks... ideas?

Second issue - paper feeds, machine jams and the paper is stopping at the point of contact between the ITB and the lower roller. ??????

Last issue - Image is blurred beyond belief. Belt is fine, gears are fine. Could this be drums?

As a side note, I have 2-3 ITB assemblies that I have switched in and out, 1 of them won't let a single piece of paper pass through. Are they possibly slightly different based on year model or from a 3200 to 3220?

    Thanks.

your user title on this forum is technician, but you are not,so you have two options.

    1. by a new copier.

    2. Call Canon tech.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Check the ITB pressure arms (#17/#10). If one of those breaks it can cause the jamming.

I'm trying to be constructive. Call a Canon tech. He'll come out, tell you to put proper drums in it then charge you for an hour. Once proper drums are installed then he will attempt to troubleshoot it(on a second chargable service call,of course). I'm giving you good advice. Try it, call Canon for service.
